Very worrying news for the Netherlands national team and Liverpool.
Details: Oranje head coach Ronald Koeman commented on the substitution of 25-year-old right-back Jeremie Frimpong, who was taken off just 14 minutes after coming on in yesterday's match against Ecuador.

According to Koeman, the Liverpool defender suffered a serious injury during one of the episodes, which forced him to leave the pitch:
“That was a real setback — we had to take him off,” Koeman revealed.
At this point, there is no official diagnosis for Frimpong, as he still has to undergo a medical examination. However, judging by Koeman's comments, the injury could be quite severe.
If Frimpong's recovery drags on, the player risks missing the rest of the season, as well as the World Cup, which kicks off in just over two months.
This season, Frimpong has played 26 matches for Liverpool, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
