Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, Bayern Munich’s 18-year-old attacking midfielder Lennart Karl has suffered a hamstring strain during training and will be sidelined for several weeks.

However, if Karl’s injury worsens, his recovery could take even longer, putting his place in Germany’s squad for the 2026 World Cup—which kicks off in two months—in serious doubt.
This season, Karl has made 35 appearances for Bayern, scoring 9 goals and providing 7 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €60 million, and his contract with Bayern runs until 2029.
