The relationship between Woltemade and Newcastle's management is anything but smooth.

Details: According to Christian Falk, Newcastle's 24-year-old forward Nick Woltemade may be on his way out this summer due to ongoing tensions with the club's hierarchy, particularly with the team's head coach.

Woltemade remains hopeful that the situation can be resolved:

“Normally, Nick Woltemade would not want to leave Newcastle this summer. However, we've all seen his posts on social media (and, notably, what has since disappeared).

There's a backstory here. There was an article in an English newspaper, and I believe that Woltemade knows the reporter in question is very close to Eddie Howe. It's possible the German striker feels that the opinion expressed in the article is shared by his manager. I can say that, perhaps, that's actually the case.

That's why they might have reached a new conclusion about what lies ahead for all parties next season.” — Falk told CF Bayern Insider exclusively.

Woltemade joined Newcastle last August from Stuttgart for €75 million. The forward has made 48 appearances for the Magpies this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists. His contract runs until 2031, and his market value is currently estimated at €65 million by Transfermarkt.
