Major changes ahead? Real Madrid president planning sweeping clear-out at the club
Real Madrid endured a disappointing season, and the club’s president has decided to respond by preparing major internal changes.
Details: According to The Touchline, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is planning a large-scale overhaul this summer. Several players could be put up for sale. He is reportedly frustrated by the internal conflicts within the squad, believing they are damaging the club’s image.
Behind the scenes, there is a growing feeling that the team’s discipline and unity have begun to crumble — something Pérez is not prepared to tolerate.
We previously reported that relationships within the club are currently far from ideal. Some players have completely stopped speaking to one another.
Reminder: Real Madrid’s 33-year-old German centre-back Antonio Rüdiger also struck a member of the club’s staff during training. He was initially seen arguing with the team’s equipment manager before repeatedly pretending to punch him.
