Major blow. Jan Oblak suffers injury and will miss the next match

Atlético Madrid thrashed Tottenham in their last outing and are now preparing for a La Liga clash against Getafe, but one of their key players will not be available.

Details: The player in question is Jan Oblak, who will miss the upcoming match. According to Marca, the goalkeeper left Friday’s training session with discomfort in his side. Medical examinations later revealed that he is suffering from a muscle strain.

Atlético Madrid will face Getafe in a Spanish La Liga Matchweek 28 fixture on Saturday, March 14. Kick-off is scheduled for 16:15 CET.

We previously reported that 44-year-old former striker David Villa is officially returning to the club as a member of the board of directors and an advisor to the management.
