AC Milan's main goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, found himself in an unpleasant situation after the weekend match against Lazio.
Details. According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Maignan made “disrespectful remarks” about one of the match officials in the tunnel after the game.
For his words, the French goalkeeper received a one-match suspension. He will miss the upcoming Rossoneri match against Lecce.
This season, the 29-year-old French goalkeeper has played in 40 matches for Milan, keeping a clean sheet in 11 of them.
Reminder. It was previously reported that Manchester United has identified Maignan as a replacement for Andre Onana. The "Red Devils" intend to make an offer for the French goalkeeper this summer.
