A mutual parting of ways
The Egyptian giants have announced that they have parted ways with their striker by mutual consent.
Mahmoud Trezeguet is no longer an Al Ahly SC player. The Egyptian international officially left the club on Tuesday 14 July.
The announcement was made by Al Ahly via a statement on social media. Trezeguet and Al Ahly have parted ways on amicable terms, the Egyptian club said.
The Egyptian international striker, who made a name for himself with a goal at the 2026 World Cup, will now have to find a new club. According to sources, he is expected to join Al Riyadh.
