Magesi FC Suffer Heavy Defeat in Carling Black Label Cup

Magesi FC endured a disappointing 3-0 defeat in the latest edition of the Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday. The match, which saw them face a select team composed of Betway Premiership stars under the guidance of Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro, was dominated by the Carling All Stars.

The All Stars scored all three goals in the first half. Samkelo Zwane, who plays for Kaizer Chiefs, scored one, and Naledi Hlongwane scored two. This loss makes things difficult for Magesi, as they haven't won a game since beating Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout Cup on November 23.

After the match, coach Clinton Larsen quit his job. This leaves the team at the bottom of the league and at risk of being demoted. The club is now searching for a new coach.
