Bayern continues to explore options to bolster the left flank for next season.

Details: According to insider Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich has the promising 20-year-old Lyon winger Malick Fofana on their shortlist.

Alongside the Lyon winger, 19-year-old Cologne winger Said El Mala also remains on the list, whose candidacy has previously been discussed.

However, a transfer for El Mala would be more complicated: his contract with Köln runs until 2030 and contains no release clause, making a direct move to Munich difficult. Therefore, Malick Fofana currently stands a better chance of joining the Bavarian giants.

This season, the young Belgian has featured in just twelve matches for Lyon across all competitions, as he has been sidelined since late October due to an injury picked up in a Ligue 1 clash against Strasbourg. During this stretch, he managed to score two goals and provide one assist.
