The Brazilian forward failed to establish himself at Real Madrid and moved to Lyon on loan in the winter, where he has started to produce outstanding football.
Details: According to ESPN Brasil, Lyon are now seeking to extend the loan of the Brazilian forward. The French side’s head coach Paulo Fonseca is urging the club to do everything possible to ensure that Endrick remains with the team for a longer period.
Endrick has already played three matches for Lyon, scoring four goals and providing one assist in that spell. In the previous game, the Brazilian completed a hat-trick and helped Lyon to a 5–2 victory.
It was previously reported that the loan agreement between the clubs will run until June 2026, with Lyon covering 50 percent of Endrick’s salary.
It is also clarified that Lyon do not have the option to buy the player, which means that Endrick will be obliged to return to Real Madrid after the loan period expires.
Recall: In the summer of 2025, Trent Alexander-Arnold moved to Real Madrid but did not receive much playing time. Rumours emerged that he could leave the club, but this information has now been denied.
