Luka Modrić one step away from joining Milan

Despite his age, Luka has no intention of slowing down or leaving football behind.
Details: Fabrizio Romano confidently reports that 39-year-old Luka Modrić is set to join Milan as a full-fledged player for the Rossoneri.
According to Fabrizio, the Croatian midfielder will officially become a player for the Italian giants after the Club World Cup—an oral agreement between the parties has already been reached.
Earlier, Milan's sporting director Igli Tare expressed hope that the transfer would go through, noting that despite his age, Modrić remains a player of the highest caliber and will be given a role in the team befitting his status.
Modrić leaves Real Madrid after 13 years at the club as a free agent. During his time in the Spanish capital, the Croatian etched his name in the history of Los Blancos in golden letters—winning numerous trophies, including the Ballon d'Or in 2018.
