Luka Jović is moving to Mexico


Mexican giants Cruz Azul have opened negotiations with AC Milan over the transfer of the Serbian striker.
Details: 27-year-old Luka Jović could be set for a cross-continental switch with a move to the Mexican powerhouse.
According to AS, the clubs are already deep in talks regarding a potential transfer.
This information has also been confirmed by Cruz Azul president Víctor Velázquez:
"We have taken certain steps and we hope that in the coming days everything will progress, and he will join Cruz Azul," he stated.
Cruz Azul currently top the Liga MX table, racking up 42 points in 17 matches, making them the clear favorites for the Apertura title.
Jović's contract with Milan runs until June 30, 2025. This means that Luka could leave the club as a free agent.
During the 2024/2025 season, Jović has made 17 appearances for Milan, finding the net 4 times.
