On the night of Monday, June 10, the second game of the NBA Finals took place, featuring the Boston Celtics against the Dallas Mavericks.

As reported by ESPN, the Mavericks' star Luka Dončić made history for Dallas. He recorded the team's first-ever triple-double in an NBA Finals series game. The Slovenian player scored 32 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists in 42 minutes on the court. This marks Dončić's tenth career triple-double in the playoffs.

It's worth noting that Luka Dončić was named the MVP of the Western Conference Finals and received the Magic Johnson Award.

Additionally, Mavericks' leader Luka Dončić became the club's all-time assist leader in NBA playoff games. In the fourth game of the series against Minnesota (100-105), he recorded 10 assists.

Previously, Dončić became the sixth-youngest player in NBA history to reach the 10,000-point milestone. He achieved this at the age of 24 years and 300 days, needing just 358 games to reach the mark.
