Fans arriving at Crypto.com Arena to watch their team take on the Mavericks were pleasantly surprised by an announcement at a parking lot near the arena that read, "Free parking. Provided by Luka Doncic." The lot was located across from Tom's Watch Bar in LA Live, a popular Los Angeles sports bar.
Lakers fans appreciated the gesture from their new star, expressing gratitude and admiration for his generosity.
Doncic also delighted Lakers supporters on the court. He played a key role in his team's 107-99 victory over the Mavericks, recording a triple-double. The Slovenian tallied 19 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and dished out 12 assists.
"It's not ideal. But, I'm glad this game is over. There was a lot of emotions. But, we go little by little and every day is better," Doncic said after the game, reflecting on the matchup.
