Luis Suárez's contract with Inter Miami is drawing to a close, and it will be the Uruguayan himself who decides whether he wants to continue playing for the club. This was confirmed by team co-owner Jorge Mas.
Luis Suárez is a legend. He's not only one of the best number nines of his generation, but one of the best in the history of the game. He'll make a decision about his future after the end of the season. He deserves the right to shape his own destiny. If he chooses to leave, he should go out through the front door, receiving all the honors he deserves. If he wants to stay for another year, that would be fantastic. I would love to keep him.

As a reminder, Suárez joined Inter Miami at the start of 2024, signing a one-year deal. The parties later agreed to extend his stay for another year, through December 31, 2025. In the recently concluded MLS season, the 38-year-old forward scored 10 goals and delivered 11 assists, making a significant contribution to the team's historic triumph.
