Details: According to AS, Suárez’s contract expires in December 2025, and he has yet to make a definitive decision about his future. Moreover, it is increasingly likely that he will leave Inter Miami at the end of this season — unless something unexpected happens.
It also remains unclear what Suárez plans to do after his time with Inter Miami ends. He is not ruling out the possibility of retirement altogether. However, a return to Uruguay to play for a local club is also on the table, though nothing has been decided yet.
For Inter Miami, his departure could prove beneficial financially, as it would free up significant space in the wage structure — Suárez is currently one of the club’s highest earners.
Reminder: The legendary Leo Messi is looking to prepare seriously for the 2026 World Cup and is reportedly open to leaving MLS for a more competitive league.
