Festivities have taken over Barcelona—following a domestic double and a Supercopa triumph, the city is alive with massive celebrations. Meanwhile, the club is already working at full throttle with the summer transfer window looming.
With the team’s tactics demanding balance on the wings, and only two wingers of the required style at the manager’s disposal, the direction of Barça’s transfer policy is crystal clear. According to Relevo, Liverpool forward Luis Díaz is now at the top of their transfer agenda.
The 28-year-old Colombian leads the shortlist of potential signings, provided Barcelona can maintain their 1:1 financial ratio and secure the funds for a deal exceeding €80 million. Díaz has received a contract extension offer from the Merseysiders but has yet to respond, weighing up whether to renew his current agreement, which runs until 2027.
This season, Díaz has notched up 17 goals and 5 assists in 48 club appearances. Transfermarkt currently values him at €85 million.
