Loyalty! Reece James signs new long-term contract with Chelsea

Chelsea has managed to secure their defensive leader for many years to come.

Details: According to renowned and highly respected journalist and insider David Ornstein on his X social media page, 26-year-old Chelsea centre-back Reece James has signed a new contract with the club.

It is reported that the new agreement between James and Chelsea runs until 2032, with the player receiving an improved salary, which will also include an incentivised bonus structure.

Reece James is a Chelsea academy graduate and has spent virtually his entire professional career within the Blues’ system. He was promoted to the first team in 2019 and since then has played 225 matches for the Londoners, scoring 16 goals and providing 31 assists.

Reece James’s market value is currently estimated at €60 million by Transfermarkt.
