Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti won the bronze medal in men's singles at the 2024 Olympics.

In the match for third place, the Italian faced Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime. The match took place on the Philippe Chatrier court and lasted 2 hours and 17 minutes.

Musetti took the first set but lost the second without a chance. In the decisive third set, Lorenzo managed to break serve at 4-3 in his favor, then confidently held his serve.

Additionally, this medal is the first for Italian tennis in 100 years. The last time an Italian won bronze was Umberto de Modpurgo in 1924.
