Lopetegui refuses to think about the winter transfer window

West Ham's current form has left fans less than satisfied. Despite a three-match unbeaten run that has pushed the team eight points clear of the relegation zone, it’s far from the level of success the Hammers faithful expect. Head coach Julen Lopetegui also acknowledged the need for improvement.

Details: The London club's manager admitted that his primary concern right now is the team’s performance, not the winter transfer market.

Quote: “The best sign for me is that my players are focused on Southampton. There’s no room in my mind for anything else, just this. I emphasize this a lot, but it’s true. I repeat it because it’s the only truth I believe in: to stay focused on the next match. After that, we’ll see what happens.

We talk a lot about the team, the current squad, and the next challenge – but the only thing we are focused on now is Southampton,” Lopetegui stated.

Reminder: Earlier this week, Lopetegui and his family faced a personal tragedy, as Julen's father, José, passed away last Tuesday.
