Long-Standing Tension Between Al Ahly’s El Shahat and Pyramids’ Chibi Finally Resolved

After many months of tension between Al Ahly's Hussein El Shahat and Pyramids FC's Moroccan player Mohamed Chibi, the feud is now put to rest. So says El Shahat's agent Mohamed El Shahat, the two Dear Players crossed ways in an event to honour guests. El Shahat is said to have sent a personal apology, which Chibi warmly received in the said event.

A video where El Shaht and Chibi hugged and laughed, indicating the end of the feud, was shared on social media. Their feud came after the confrontation between the two during their league match in July 2023 when El Shaht punched Chibi, which later led to a court decision causing severe damage to El Shaht.

In fact, Chibi had earlier sought the legalization of the move and had also opposed the monetary compensation, adamant that the matter had to be settled through the courts. Indeed, it has now ended amicably with the friendly settlement of the declared dispute.
