Liverpool preparing to buy back Jarell Quansah
The Reds are in urgent need of solutions for their defensive line.
Details: According to renowned insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, Liverpool's management has decided to activate the buy-back clause for 23-year-old central defender Jarell Quansah of Bayer Leverkusen.
It's reported that ongoing defensive issues and the high probability of key defenders leaving are forcing the club to bring Quansah back to Anfield.
The source claims the deal will take place in 2027, with Liverpool set to pay the "Pharmacists" around €35 million, as specified in the original agreement.
Jarell Quansah joined Bayer Leverkusen from Liverpool in the summer of 2025 for €35 million. Since then, he has made 28 appearances for the German side, scoring 2 goals. His contract with Bayer runs until 2030, and Transfermarkt currently values him at €40 million.
