Liverpool lead the race to sign Euro 2024 sensation Marc Guehi

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has caught the attention of the Premier League's top clubs following his impressive performances for England at Euro 2024 last summer.

Details. According to Caughtoffside, Liverpool and Newcastle United are set to enter a battle to sign one of the Premier League's finest defenders.

It is noted that Liverpool currently leads the race for the English center-back. The uncertain future of Virgil Van Dijk makes signing a new central defender this summer even more crucial for the Premier League leaders.

Guehi's contract with Crystal Palace runs until 2026, which might force the club to sell the defender after the season ends.
