Liverpool launch hunt for Athletic Bilbao star

Liverpool winger Luis Diaz could leave Anfield in the summer, and the Scousers need to find a decent replacement for the player. And, it seems, he found one in the Spanish league.

According to a report from As, the Reds are targeting the signing of recent Copa del Rey winner Nico Williams. But, not only Liverpool are claiming for the player Athletic Bilbao, he is also being watched by Tottenham and Aston Villa.

In the summer, a €55 million clause in the 21-year-old winger's contract will be activated, and three English clubs will be ready to activate it to lure Williams to the APL.

The Basque player has attracted the attention of top teams due to his outstanding form this season. Williams has scored six goals and given 14 assists in 30 Athletic matches. Earlier we reported that Barcelona are also interested in the winger.
