Liverpool Faces Threat as Bayern Eyes Egyptian Star Omar Marmoush
On Monday, November 4, it was reported that Bayern Munich is keen on acquiring Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt during the upcoming summer transfer window. Marmoush, who made a free transfer to Frankfurt in 2023 after his stint with Wolfsburg, has caught the eye of several prominent European clubs, including Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Sky Sports indicates that Bayern’s Sporting Director Max Eberl has taken a particular interest in Marmoush’s recent performances, although formal negotiations have yet to commence. There have been some initial informal discussions, however.
Eintracht Frankfurt is believed to value Marmoush at around €50 to €60 million, signaling their openness to offers. With a contract that extends until 2027, Marmoush has emerged as a highly sought-after player, and Liverpool is also reportedly contemplating a bid for the Egyptian international.
