Liverpool dominated Sparta in the second match, securing an overall victory with a score of 11:2

Liverpool hosted Prague's Sparta at Anfield in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16. This encounter didn't promise much suspense, since the Merseysiders had won 5:1 in Prague.

And nothing changed in this match: the thrashing of the Czech team continued. The Merseysiders scored four goals against their opponents in the first half. Nunez, Clark, Salah, and Gakpo were the scorers.

By the way, Salah became the first player in Liverpool's history to score 20+ goals in 7 consecutive seasons for the club.

Sparta managed to get a consolation goal towards the end of the first half through Birmancevic.
