Liverpool Confirm Ibrahima Konaté to Leave on Free Transfer After Five-Year Spell at Anfield

Liverpool have confirmed that defender Ibrahima Konaté will leave the club on a free transfer this summer, bringing his five-year stay at Anfield to an end.

The French international is set to depart at the end of June after joining the Reds in 2021 from RB Leipzig.

During his time at the club, Konaté made 183 appearances and scored seven goals, becoming an important figure in Liverpool’s defence across multiple competitions.

He also leaves with a strong list of honours, including the 2024/25 Premier League title, the FA Cup, two Carabao Cups, and the FA Community Shield.
