Tomorrow, on March 31st, a match will take place in which one of the contenders for the championship title – Liverpool, will visit the team that is vying for European football qualification for the second time – Brighton & Hove Albion.

Following a draw with Manchester City, the Merseysiders relinquished their leading position and dropped to second place, trailing Arsenal by a single point. Their previous opponent, Manchester City, also sits one spot lower and possesses just one point less.

Brighton is situated in the middle of the league table. Eleven points separate the team from the European football qualification zone, and replicating the achievements of the previous season appears unlikely.

Many renowned resources, such as Sofascore, Besoccer, and Whoscored, have already speculated on the potential starting line-ups for each team. Additionally, one of Europe's major telecommunication systems, Eurosport, has not been left out.

First and foremost, it is worth noting that both teams have absences ahead of the match, with numerous players from each side set to miss out due to injuries.

Liverpool will be without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Stephan Bajcetic, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, and Thiago. The participation of Darwin Nunez and Andrew Robertson in the match also remains uncertain.

Brighton has fewer absences, but they still exist. Juan Pedro, Solly March, James Milner, Kaoru Mitoma, and Jack Jenkins will not feature in this match.

Regarding Liverpool's starting lineup, sources differ in their opinions regarding the defensive line. Due to Alisson's injury, Caoimhin Kelleher will likely start in goal. It is widely believed that Joseph Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk will feature in defense, but who will assist them remains unknown. Options include Ibrahima Konate, Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah, or Andrew Robertson.

In midfield, Jurgen Klopp's standard trio of Dominic Solanke, Vataru Endo, and Alexis Mac Allister will play. The attacking trio will also feature as usual: Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, and Luis Diaz, provided the Uruguayan can play in this match.

  • Predicted Liverpool line-ups:
Kelleher – Van Dijk, Gomez, Konate/Quansah, Bradley/Robertson – Solanke, Endo, Mac Allister – Diaz, Nunez, Salah

As for Brighton's starting lineup, there are more differences in sources.

Bart Verbruggen will likely start in goal. In defense, four players are expected to play, including Lewis Dunk and Jan Paul Van Hecke. The remaining two defenders are still uncertain and could be Joel Veltman, Tarik Lamptey, or Pervis Estupinan.

Among the five midfielders, Billy Gilmour, Pascal Gross, and Simon Adingra are likely to feature. The remaining two positions could be taken by Ansu Fati, Adam Lallana, Facundo Bochornatte, or Julio Cesar Enciso.

In attack, either Danny Welbeck or Evan Ferguson will play.

  • Predicted Brighton & Hove Albion line-ups:
    Verbruggen – Dunk, Van Hecke, Veltman/Lamptey/Estupinan, Veltman/Lamptey/Estupinan – Gilmour, Gross, Adingra, Fati/Enciso, Lallana/Bochornatte – Welbeck/Ferguson
