Lisandro Martínez undergoes surgery after ACL rupture

Manchester United center-back Lisandro Martínez suffered a serious injury in early February, with the Argentine diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Details. Today, Martínez underwent surgery after Manchester United’s management determined that surgical intervention was necessary for the defender.

His season is officially over, and Martínez will aim to return before the end of 2025. However, the exact timeline for his comeback will depend on the progress of his recovery and rehabilitation.

This season, the Argentine has made 32 appearances for the Red Devils, contributing two goals and two assists.
