Lisa Vittozzi revealed when she plans to end her athletic career

The renowned Italian biathlete, Lisa Vittozzi, has revealed her plans regarding the conclusion of her athletic career.

The Italian athlete assured her fans that she will not retire until she competes in the 2026 Winter Olympics on home soil.

"My goal for the next season is to continue improving. Of course, it is always challenging because the level increases each year. But I am highly motivated and constantly strive to get better.

The timing of my retirement will depend primarily on how the 2026 Winter Olympics in Antholz go," Vittozzi told Ski-Nordique.

Previously, another prominent Italian biathlete, Dorothea Wierer, also announced her intention to continue competing at least until the 2026 home Olympics.
