Former Sevilla and Poland international Grzegorz Krychowiak opened up about his deep passion for travel in an interview with Forbes. The Polish midfielder, who recently resumed his football career, enjoys exploring the world—often in some of the most extreme and remote destinations.

Krychowiak revealed that he primarily travels with his brothers, as his wife struggles to keep up with his relentless wanderlust.

So far, he has visited 130 countries but has set himself the ambitious goal of seeing every nation on Earth. Among his most unique trips was a journey to Botswana, a destination far removed from civilization.

The footballer recalled staying in a hotel deep in the jungle, completely cut off from the outside world, with no internet or phone signal. Adding to the adventure, elephants and lions roamed just outside their lodging.

Due to the lack of communication, they were unable to check in with their families. To ease concerns, they sent a short message via radio through a local resident. However, this only made their loved ones even more anxious, as they feared the group had been kidnapped. Fortunately, the trip ended safely, and they returned home unharmed.
