Inter Miami suffered a defeat in the second match of the MLS playoffs against Atlanta United. Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Jordi Alba played the entire match but were unable to help the team secure a victory.

Details. The scoring in the match was opened by Inter's David Martinez after an assist from Federico Redondo. However, right after the halftime break, Atlanta responded with a goal from Derrick Williams in the 58th minute. Atlanta United claimed victory with a score of 2-1 thanks to a dramatic goal from Xande Silva in the 90+4th minute.

Despite Miami having 59% possession, they managed only two shots on target compared to four from Atlanta. Messi remains scoreless in his first MLS playoff matches.
