Lionel Messi wins second title with Inter Miami

On the night of Thursday, October 3rd, in an MLS regular-season clash, Columbus Crew faced Inter Miami.
In the first half, legendary Argentine forward Lionel Messi stole the show, netting a brace with goals in the 45th and 45+5 minutes. After halftime, Columbus narrowed the gap, but Miami quickly responded. In the 48th minute, Luis Suárez scored Miami's third goal.
Columbus struck back with a second goal, but the Crew couldn’t equalize. Inter Miami secured a 3-2 win. Moreover, this victory crowned Messi with his second title at Miami — the Supporters' Shield.
This trophy is awarded to the MLS team with the highest points at the end of the regular season, essentially recognizing the regular-season champions.
