One of the Milwaukee Bucks' leaders is facing serious health issues. Damian Lillard is out indefinitely.
Details: According to insider Shams Charania, the point guard has been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right calf, and it's currently unknown how long his recovery will take.
Quote: "Lillard is on blood thinners that have stabilized the clot and will continue to undergo regular check-ups. He is out indefinitely," the statement reads.
Lillard himself admitted that this is an extremely unpleasant situation, as he can't control such things. He also thanked the club for their prompt response and care for his health.
Lillard's average stats in the current NBA regular season: 24.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.
Reminder: Celtics' leader Jayson Tatum did not finish the last game, leaving the court late in the third quarter after a hard foul. He suffered a right ankle injury. Tatum was escorted to the bench, after which he returned to the court and made one of two free throws.
