Ligue 1's biggest talent is sure to transfer to Real Madrid
Next summer, Real Madrid will welcome a new central defender. As reported by Marca's chief editor José Félix Díaz, the Madrid club is actively working to finalize the transfer of the young center-back from Lille, Leny Yoro.
Real Madrid holds Yoro's talent in high regard and believes that this 18-year-old defender could emulate the path of Raphaël Varane.
Yoro himself dreams of playing for Real and is not considering other options. The footballer is confident that his home club and Real will reach an agreement soon.
It is known that Lille aims to make Yoro the most expensive defender in the history of Ligue 1. Currently, the record belongs to Benjamin Mendy, who moved to Manchester City from Monaco for 57 million euros.
Real Madrid successfully outbid Bayern Munich, PSG, and Manchester United for Yoro.
Yoro made his debut for Lille's first team at the age of 16 and is the second youngest player in the club's history. In 36 matches this season across all competitions, he has scored 3 goals.
