Libya Arrives in Hoima Ahead of AFCON Qualifier Against Uganda

The Libyan national football team have officially arrived in Hoima, Uganda, ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier matchday two game against the Uganda Cranes.

The Mediterranean Knights travelled to Uganda aboard a chartered Uganda Airlines flight as they began their preparations for the crucial match.

Libya will face Uganda on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Hoima City Stadium in their second AFCON qualifying fixture.

The Libyan delegation will now settle into their accommodation and continue preparations ahead of the encounter, with both teams looking to strengthen their position in the qualifying campaign.
