These stats command respect.

Details: At just 19, Lhuan-dre Pretorius achieved the following milestones:

  • Fourth batter in history to score a century in both first-class and Test cricket
  • Youngest South African to score a century on debut in any format
  • Fastest South African to reach 150 runs (157 balls) in Tests
  • Youngest Test debutant to score 150+

Lhuan-dre Pretorius, a powerful left-handed wicketkeeper-batsman, was a star in South Africa's elite school cricket system and quickly transitioned into the professional ranks.

He finished sixth in runs scored at the CSA T20 Knockout Challenge in the 2023-24 season. He made his franchise T20 debut for the Paarl Royals the following summer in January 2025, smashing a career-best 97 runs in his very first match.

Recall: Yashasvi Jaiswal scores a century in his very first Test innings
