Barcelona's forward and Poland's national team player, Robert Lewandowski, shared insights about his future plans - how long he intends to keep playing and whether coaching is in his contemplation. He granted a significant interview reported by Sport.es.

The 35-year-old Polish player, the eldest member of the team under Xavi's management, commented on the challenging start to the season. Despite boasting respectable stats of seven goals and three assists in thirteen La Liga matches, compared to thirteen goals and four assists in a similar number of games last season, Lewandowski acknowledged the high expectations placed on Barcelona:

"I know we're Barcelona, and everyone expects not just victories but also a multitude of goals from us. At the beginning of the season, it wasn't ideal, but if we aren't creating many chances, it becomes difficult to score."

Lewandowski's unwavering desire to win remains evident in his second season at Barcelona. He envisions hanging up his boots far in the future:

"I don't think about what I've already won or accomplished. I still have that feeling and passion inside me. I believe I can continue playing football for three or four more years because physically, I feel very good."

Moreover, Robert hasn't ruled out the possibility of exploring a coaching role in the future but doesn't currently consider it:

"Right now, I can't say that, but in five to seven years, I might miss the dressing room, the smell, and the entire atmosphere, and I might say, 'Okay, maybe I'll try.' But for now, I don't see myself as a coach."

Last summer, Lewandowski moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich for €45 million after spending eight years with the German club. His contract with the Catalan club extends until the summer of 2026.
