"Let’s fight": Dubois ready to step into the ring against Wladimir Klitschko
The boxing world continues to buzz with speculation about a potential return of 48-year-old former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to the ring.
The most likely opponent for the Ukrainian legend is IBF world champion Daniel Dubois. According to the British fighter, he is open to the idea.
Quote: "We’re in an era of boxing where anything can happen.
Such fighters can come back from retirement. Look at Mike Tyson — he recently had an exhibition fight. Anything is possible. And it’s great. If the conditions are right, then yes, let’s fight," Dubois told Sky Sports.
Reminder: Earlier, Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Entertainment chairman, Turki Al Al-Sheikh, urged Klitschko to return to the ring.
Klitschko’s last fight took place on April 29, 2017, when he lost to Anthony Joshua via technical knockout. The Ukrainian held world titles under the IBO, IBF, and WBO banners.
