"Let them put an end to it". Iniesta denies rumors of pre-contract with Real Madrid

Midfielder Andrés Iniesta spent the majority of his career with Barcelona, dedicating 16 years to the Catalan club. Known for his unwavering loyalty to Barcelona's colors, Iniesta has consistently stated that he never considered other teams, despite recent claims from the media.
Details: Spanish journalist Tomás Rosero previously reported that Iniesta had a preliminary agreement to join Real Madrid in 2006. Iniesta, however, firmly denies this claim.
Quote: "I’m not from Madrid, and I didn’t sign a pre-contract. No, absolutely not. They’re lying, saying I signed a pre-contract. Let them put an end to it," Iniesta said in an interview with As.
Reminder: Iniesta announced his retirement on October 7. His last club was Emirates in the UAE. He played for Barcelona from 2002 to 2018 and represented Spain in Euro 2008, Euro 2012, and the 2010 World Cup.
