Leroy Sané avoids punishment for elbowing Borussia Dortmund player
On Saturday, November 30, in a Bundesliga clash, Bayern Munich visited Borussia Dortmund.
During the game, an incident occurred where Leroy Sané elbowed Dortmund player Pascal Groß. It has now been clarified whether the Bayern winger will face any consequences for this act.
Details: Anton Nachreiner, head of the DFB Control Committee, announced that they will not be opening a case against the Bayern Munich winger. As a result, Leroy Sané will not face retrospective punishment for elbowing Groß.
Quote: "After reviewing television footage and taking into account the statement provided by Dortmund’s Pascal Groß, the conditions for clear unsportsmanlike conduct in the form of an attack on an opponent were not conclusively proven to the extent required for a conviction," Nachreiner stated.
Additional note: Earlier today, a minor traffic incident occurred near the entrance to Bayern Munich's training facility. Two vehicles collided, but it appears that no one was seriously injured.
