Fortunately, the reason Leo was stopped was absolutely heartwarming.

Details: Photos have gone viral on X showing a police officer stopping Lionel Messi as he walked toward his car. But instead of asking for his papers or making an arrest, the officer simply requested a selfie with the legendary Argentine.

Messi had just finished training with Inter Miami and was heading home when he noticed a police officer approaching, signaling him to wait. Messi smiled and happily agreed to the officer's cherished photo request, then got into his car and drove home.

This season, Leo has played 40 matches for Inter Miami, scoring 38 goals and providing 22 assists.

Reminder: Incredible impact. Messi involved in 22 of Inter Miami’s last 25 goals
