Leny Yoro has made his decision regarding his international career!
The Manchester United defender is reported to have chosen to represent his country of origin, the Ivory Coast.
Born in Saint-Maurice, France, Leny Yoro is said to have preferred the Elephants of Ivory Coast rather than continuing his international career with France, for whose youth teams he has played until now. The Manchester United defender is expected to receive his first call-up shortly.
He is expected to be part of Hervé Renard’s squad for the September training camp as part of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
Should this news be confirmed, Leny Yoro’s arrival would be a masterstroke for the Ivorian Football Federation, which in recent months has succeeded in persuading dual nationals based in Europe to represent the country. Leny Yoro would be a significant boost to the defence of the Ivory Coast Elephants.
