The Frenchman is set to bid farewell to Barcelona and make the move to Madrid in the near future.
Details: According to Atlético's official website, 28-year-old French defender Clément Lenglet has already joined the ranks of the "Colchoneros."
One of the key aspects of the deal is that Barcelona paid a portion of the player's salary, while Lenglet waived the remainder.
It is also reported that one of the reasons behind Barcelona's decision was the opportunity to improve their financial situation.
Last season, Clément spent the year at Atlético on loan while still contracted to Barcelona. Now, he is set to sign a full three-year deal with the Madrid club.
