Leipzig head coach shuts down speculation about Šeško’s winter transfer
Leipzig’s head coach Marco Rose has put an end to speculation regarding the potential winter transfer of forward Benjamin Šeško.
Details. According to Rose, Šeško will not be leaving the club in January and will remain a part of the “Red Bulls” at least until the summer.
Earlier reports suggested that Šeško might leave Leipzig in the summer. Barcelona has shown interest in the Slovenian striker as they look for a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski. However, the talented forward is reportedly leaning toward a move to Arsenal.
Reminder. Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on Šeško. The Slovenian striker was close to joining Arsenal last summer, but ultimately stayed at RB Leipzig. This season, the 21-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 22 appearances for the “Red Bulls.”
