In yesterday's encounter of the 38th round of the English Championship, Leicester City traveled to face Southampton. By the midpoint of the first half, the Foxes were already leading, and in the latter part of the game, they netted five more goals against their opponents, clinching victory. With this result, Leicester City secured their promotion to the Premier League.

Leicester had been relegated from the top tier of English football following the previous season. Prior to that, the team had enjoyed continuous participation in the Premier League since the 2014/15 season. It's worth recalling that in the second year after their promotion, the Foxes showcased remarkable prowess and clinched the championship title.

Despite Leicester City's swift return to the Premier League just one season after their relegation to the Championship, the Foxes' faithful remained discontented with the team's performance. Following yesterday's match, one of them expressed on social media platform X:

"Sorry, but it's disappointing when they hype it up like this. Promotion in the 2013/2014 season, winning the championship in 2015/2016, and now it looks the same as back then, but not at all in terms of gameplay."

Another wrote:

"This victory, mate, which granted us a ticket to the Premier League, wasn't as glorious for me, since I didn't see us physically win this match. I would have preferred to witness our performance on Monday and celebrate thereafter. I'm glad someone else agrees with me."

Yet another commented:

"This is disheartening. Do you trust these guys to step onto the field on Monday?"

There was also a user who doubted the team's capabilities:

"Considering how things have gone, we simply need to ascend if possible."

With two more rounds remaining in the Championship season, Leicester City will face Preston and Blackburn.
