A major loss for the Sundowns' legacy.

Details: Today, an official post appeared on Mamelodi Sundowns' X social media page announcing the departure of two club stalwarts: Rivaldo Coetzee and Lebohang Maboe.

Coetzee joined the team in 2017 from Ajax Cape Town and has since become a Sundowns legend, making 133 appearances, scoring 2 goals, and providing 6 assists. During his tenure, he also managed to win 14 trophies with the "Brazilians."

Maboe arrived at Sundowns a year later in 2018, transferring from Maritzburg United. Over seven years at the club, he played 183 matches, scored 20 goals, and delivered 23 assists. Lebohang boasts 12 trophies with Mamelodi Sundowns and has earned 17 caps for the South African national team.

Both players made significant contributions to the team's success, earning deep gratitude and affection from the fans.
