Serena Williams is reportedly considering restarting her career and making a return to competitive tennis in the near future.

Details: According to The Telegraph, the American tennis icon is currently asking the organisers of the Queen’s Club Championships to allow her to participate in the 2026 edition of the tournament.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has applied for a wild card entry in order to compete in the doubles event alongside Victoria Mboko, following the completion of her six-month period in the anti-doping testing pool.

Meanwhile, in the Round of 32 at Roland Garros, 24-year-old Italian star Jannik Sinner, the current world No. 1, suffered a stunning defeat to Argentina’s Juan Manuel Cerúndolo, who is ranked 56th in the world.

Reminder: Starodubtseva has made the entire tennis world talk about her. This year’s French Open continues to deliver remarkable surprises that are drawing major attention. However, some stories go far beyond ordinary upsets and deserve special recognition.
