Legendary Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand has named his biggest mistake in football career.

Ferdinand believes that he shouldn't have moved to QPR in 2014 and instead should have ended his career as a player at Old Trafford.

"I would have liked to end my career at Manchester United rather than moving to QPR. Because I found myself for the first time in a dressing room where people were talking about money and wages.

We had players who didn't want to train because they had a certain salary, the intensity wasn't as high. No matter what Harry Redknapp tried to do, the players didn't buy into it, and ultimately, that team got relegated to a lower league," Rio revealed.

Rio Ferdinand played for Manchester United from 2002 to 2014. Alongside the Red Devils, the former defender won numerous domestic and European trophies.

After leaving Sir Alex Ferguson's club, the veteran also departed Manchester and concluded his career at QPR in London. He played only 12 matches for the London team.
