Legendary Rakitić set to retire this week

Details: According to Sportske novosti, Croatian football icon Ivan Rakitić, currently playing for Hajduk, has decided to hang up his boots.
Rakitić's final match will be the last round of the Croatian Premier League against Šibenik.
On his Instagram page, Rakitić shared a photo holding his removed boots—a classic symbol signaling his decision to retire from professional football.
Rakitić is best known for his stellar performances with Barcelona, Sevilla, Schalke, and the Croatian national team. Over his illustrious career, he claimed the Spanish league title four times, won the Champions League once, and lifted the Europa League trophy twice.
Reminder: Today, former Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés was dismissed from his role as head coach of Spanish fourth division side Real Ávila just a month after his appointment.
